You can renew each year, or you can choose a three-year renewal option. If you have grown from zero employees to one or more employees, you will need to open a withholding account with the Division of Revenue and also register as an employer with the Division of Unemployment Insurance and the Office of Workers' Compensation with the Delaware Department of Labor. One Stop does not support professional, municipal, county or other types of licenses at this time.

You will need to renew these separately. You can see a list of all professional and other licenses in Business First Steps. Please reach out to the appropriate municipality or county for local government licenses. Not sure if you used the new One Stop before to apply for a license? You must file an annual report to stay in good standing with the Washington Secretary of the State. Annual reports must be filed directly with the Secretary of State, Corporations and Charities Division.

As of July 1, private employers with more than 10 employees are required to register for and use E-Verify and to sign an E-Verify affidavit attesting to such. Any employer with less than 11 employees is exempt from this requirement, but must complete an affidavit attesting that they are exempt.
